You'll hear from us by email or phone to schedule your free 15-minute consultation at a time that works for you.
Before the call, fill out our Family and Student Information Form. It gives us a starting point ahead of time, so we come to the call ready to talk about your plan.
Tell us what's going on. We'll ask questions, listen carefully, and give you honest guidance on the best next step, even if that means pointing you somewhere else.
If we're the right fit, we'll outline exactly what support looks like: what we'll do, what it costs, and what you can expect at every stage.
Not at all. We work with families at every stage, whether you're just starting to notice something might be different about your child's learning or you're already deep in a dispute about placement. The free consultation is a great place to figure out where you are and what makes sense.
We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. We are educational advocates. We help you understand the special education system, your rights, and how to communicate effectively with your school. For situations that require legal action, we can help you understand your options and point you toward appropriate legal resources.
We are based in San Antonio, Texas. In-person advocacy services and classes are available in the San Antonio area. In very limited circumstances, in-person ARD meeting attendance in the Houston area may be possible by arrangement. Virtual services, including consultations, document review, parent education classes, and remote ARD meeting support, are available to families throughout Texas.
Send us an email at getstarted@berryempowered.com. We're happy to help with quick questions and will let you know if a consultation would be more useful. You can also book an hourly session for questions that need more than a quick answer.
That's the plan. Our parent education classes are still in development and not yet open for enrollment, so right now individual advocacy is the way to get started. Once classes launch, they will be exactly that: a low-commitment way to get a feel for how we work, with no pressure to move into one-on-one advocacy. Join the waitlist to be notified the moment they are available, or reach out for a free consultation if you need support before then.
